Shubman Gill-led India will take on Ben Stokes’s England in the first Test of the five-match series starting Friday, June 20, at Headingley in Leeds. This series marks a new beginning for India in Test cricket, especially after the retirement of legends Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma from the longest format. It’s also India’s first series in the new World Test Championship (WTC) cycle.
Interestingly, the last time India played a Test match at Headingley was back in 2021. So, take a quick look back at the scorecard from their last meeting.
